airwave vs dblue 10 ftrs
Does anyone have any experience with either one of these rods? Do they feel the same? Light or heavy? Is one better than the other? Thanks for your help guys!

Re: airwave vs dblue 10 ftrs
i have a 9 ft airwave paired with a baitrunner 3500 and a 10 ft airwave paired with a baitrunner 4500 which i use to baitfish with. both combos can handle 3oz + a chunk without any problems. The 9ft setup is also light enough for me to plug with the whole night or use the 10ft to liveline/snag and drop in the spring. I havent tried the dblue rods yet. For the price of the airwaves, you cant go wrong. I havent had any problems with my guides yet even though I use braid. The guide son my tica rods crapped out after two seasons. Maybe the fish I caught on them were just too big.......or maybe my drag was just too tight! If you have the means, invest in a premium rod whether its a lamiglas, st. Croix, g.Loomis, etc. The only reason why I say this is because having quality equipment makes fishing just that much more enjoyable. If you dont like the rod, you could always sell it. Most of these rods have good resale values anyway. Either way, just enjoy!
What kind of reel were you looking to pair the 10fter with? Baitfishing or plugging?
