LBI 11/2/10

Went and hit the surf for a few hours tonight .
When it got dark a neat view odd something i have no idea what it was i asked a few others fishing on the beach we all had been watching it and not fishing lol it was a string of flashing lites in the water a few 100 feet to 1/4 mile wide.
it was between some boats...now that i have time to think what it could be only thing i can think of is some sort of fishing net??????

Anyone else ever see this or is this something seen often???

Gill Netters no fish On LBI for a while...

Not gillnetters ed!! We dont use flashing lights on the nets..... It was probably the longliners filming for Swords....
