kidney stones?

so after a slightly painful few days of work i passed yet another kidney stone... this one being one of the largest probably second... the first being around 10mm or 1cm which ever term of measurement you prefer..... oh here it is.... a bad pic... i was trying to get the other pic a coworker took but for some reason i can't get it off my text messages.... oh that's a dime in the pic..

SOME GETTING STUCK LOL...THEY DONT PHASE ME ANYMORE....HAD BOTH KIDNEYS BLASTED TWICE ALREADY....

smitty.... there's a few ways they happen..... most are an excess of uric acid and calcium...

they are going to test this latest one to see what can be done if anything.... the last tests i had done i was told there was nothing they could do... so i'm hoping these new tests tell us something different......

stevel..... sorry to hear you have the same problem...... i've had over 20... kinda lost count.... a couple of years ago i had 15 in one year and had to do something about it...... still have the problem though....

when you get one and if the dr knows they will give you special filters to filter the urine.... you can do this with coffee filters also...... this one though was a bit different...... i sat down to do a number 3 started to urinate first, than i heard the plink on the porcelin and just picked it out the bowl......

actually cg... the stone wasn't what has kept me away..... i'm having other problems..... the stone actually wasn't that bad.... got it sunday passed it today... thought i was going to need surgery it didn't want to leave the kidney.... passed through with a quick sharp pain and plink off the porcellin...

best line came from a friend of mine after seeing the picture...he says "damn..... what indiana jones come running out first?"
