FLUKE REPORT 7/24

We killed the fluke on Saturday between 4 of us we got well over 100 + fluke. The average was about 17-1/2"-17 3/4". It was a SLOW day. The smallest fish was about 10" We used anything and everything in the bags we had with us from gulp and buck tails to drop shots with Mullet on trout rods with 4-6 Lb test mono...We also used a tandem split tail finesse in black over white/silver using a 1/4 Oz jig head on the bottom.. Plenty of bait around.

The west wind really helped it wasn't that bad although it was steamy out. I got 10 miles from the beach area and it was a sauna..... We started around 7 am and quit around 3 Pm. We fished Shark River Inlet front to back and then over by the Fishermen's Den.. We got some of the bigger fluke in the front on the out going tide. all in all it was a GREAT day. Sorry no pics nobody had a camera. IT'S BAD LUCK. I hope to be out again this weekend.
