Reel Maintenance or fixing reel tips forum

Ok,whats everyone think of a Reel Maintenance or fixing reel tips forum.i think its a great idea to help other members fixing or maint there reels or equiment.it could be such as a simple ?? or simple tips ect..come on lets get some feedback on this :shock:

mike,i here ya i can pretty much do all penn spinning reels with my eyes closed and no hands.lol,maybe some links where we can get parts as needed. 8)

Anyone can service a reel. Not everyone can build a rod, two different things...They should be kept seperate. Unless your talking about a Maint/Build forum...

fishtale i have to disagree i've been fishing for 19 years i to this day im not to familar with serviceing some reels. ex baitcaster my others i could use some tips on not really sure what to grease and where. i guess u can say im spoiled cause im just used to letting the baitstore maitence mine ideas would help thankx mike

i can make a how to forum with sub forums in it like rod and reel repair,home improvements,boat repairs something like that

Should have phrased it differently; Anyone can service a reel, with instructions. Rod building takes time, practice and experience with hands on instruction from another builder, not to mention you need the propper tools for it. like I said, I could have phrased it better. Sorry about that...

That's a good idea I like the How To with sub forums idea.

Can we add a How to fish sub forum? It could be where we explain how to fish a needlefish or a bucktail or how to read the water. It would be a great educational forum.
