guess what i got yet again....

it's bluefish, what you think i was going to say skunk? me and the bro headed out 7am hoping to get a spot on the beach. first cast in with bait and wham fish on... a few more fish on and break offs and all kinds of other problems had us not landing fish for the first 30minutes or so... we settled things down a bit and finally started landing fish... our other brother and his wife arrived and we all started landing fish...

few hours into the fishing a friend of my brother's showed up to test his new set up... and man the thing cast so smooth and the distance with the rod was unbelievable.. had to calm down on casting cause it was wearing me out reeling a fish in from that distance... the fish were hitting the spoons and almost anything else as soon as it would hit the water...

as the tide rolled in the fish started moving up the beach. so we eventually followed. unfortunately i couldn't get them to eat smitty's spook. i think it may be defective.... it seems the fish were schooling and staying in pockets or something along the beach... although everyone on the beach was catching there were those of us in the right spots hitting fish on every cast... fish caught were 20"+ most in the near or in 30" range...

Way to go mac. I was there yesterday morning also. Got tired of catching fish, was home for lunch.....

wish i knew you were there tech...... i was have walked by and said hello... it was a great day except of the burnt head i got... arms are still aching from so many fish... went out again this morning and there was no fish in site... so i packed it up and came back to relax.... i don't think i would have had the energy to catch another fish anyway...
