you have one private message?

i get email alerts from this site letting me know when someone posts on a thread i posted or am participating in. also for when i get private messages. well for the third time in probably a week i got the email for a private message and when i get to the site there's no private message.

is it my computer is just messing with me? or maybe the site messing with me? or is it maybe the private messages are being deleted by those who sent them? i feel like i maybe missing something like a question or answer to a question.

anyone else having this problem?

I know that if you send a pm that u can delete it when its in the outbox. Like just say your sending a pm to whom ever and u decide that u didn't want to send it even tho u did and u don't want that person to know, u can go to your outbox and u can delete the message u sent. It goes in your sent box once the persons receives it.
