SATURDAY AT DOC'S

went and spent saturday at doc poppers ... brought him about 200 pounds of lead .... turned some plugs ... hoed some plugs .... i looked like a guy from haiti firing through a grocery bag full of food .... only it was plug bodies ... made my first couple of plug bodies from start to finish sorta ... i drilled one hole for the belly hook and it wasn't that centered .... HEY doc should i drill the rest ???? DOC'S answer NO ... i even got to take some belly gromets that are all but one the WRONG size .... i took the first one out of the bag and it was the right size sooooo i took a total of eight the other 7 were the smaller size ...its prolly my fault because i was picking stuff up all day and putting it with stuff that looked like it belonged with ... I even found a brand new never open pack of metal lips ... DOC was i been lookin for those where were they ... right here under this pile of stuff thats next to this pile of stuff.. TO cap the day off got to have a bowl of doc's wifes chilly drool drool .. OH almost forgot we were washing ceder dust down with BEER :,,,,,,,,,,,: ... THANKS for the good time DOC

I WOULD OF SAVED ALL THE TROUBLE YT AND HO'D THE FINISHED PLUGS ...

Always a good time when builders and rookies get together. Especially when there is free chilli.

fjr that's for sure ... the only thing is i had a omelet with everything at a place in westerly r.i. it had broccoli,spinach,onions,peppers,sausage,soup,bacon and ham .... the girl said i cant believe ypu ate that whole thing ... i said thats what happens when it tastes good .... Sooooo that omelet,beer and chili lets just say the 1 hour ride home was almost a stop in a wooded section of highway if you know what i mean affraid

good stuff there whitey.....you'll get it down the more your around the scene. My 8yr girl did, she does everything except turn and seal...you sounded just like the way she was, but practice makes perfect ...just like your jerky, had some at the show Sat....awesome.

i was asking because i sold my soul to that devil .. MURPH THE SURF .... he is a twin cousin twice removed ... i gave him the recipe and if he did /learned like his plugs .. i could be out of hoing jerky :read:

whitey, smitty had a bag and shared some with us at the show...can you do any jerky from fish ?? Had some out in Wisconsin and it was great..not sure what type they used though......peace

not sure highhook ... i know the beef lasts awhile .. not sure how long the shelf life on the fish is .... my oldman smokes bluefish but i dont eat it .... im not a sardine eater either so thats prolly why affraid
