LBI Report

Fished all up and down LBI this past week and had a few fish
Saturday
Fished the inlet in the rain and had one bass (which I lost in the rocks) looked to be around 34 inches. Also had quite a bit of peanuts around the bay

Monday
Plugged the inlet for a while but again was to windy headed to the beach to try out some bait and found far to many dogs

Wednesday
Fished bait in the morning and got into some nice croaker action had six in about an hour, headed north to try for the kings got 10 up to 18in. Also had a few fluke one which was 4lbs on a live mullet. Mullet were everywhere filled a 5 gallon bucket in one cast. Blues are thick and mullets the ticket right now. Nothing huge but some nice 4-6 lbers.

Headed back out around 9pm to plug for the night again only blues and fluke until the morning when we found bass, buddy had two keepers 29 and 30in and i missed a few that rolled on the plug.

On a positive note there was a bunker pod a mile thick off the beach Thursday on the outside of the bar. there wasn't many fish on them but every once and a while you'd see something explode (big blues is my guess.) The tourny starts soon and there are bass around so dont forget to bring your rods to the pig roast. I ordered a 70 lb pig which ill be picking up on Friday we also have a ton of other food coming so make sure you all stop by.
