Recent Project

I've been very busy lately with work and family stuff and haven't had much time to do anything with plug building. Doing a little here and there I have managed to get these 3 done and started some others. Took the bottom guy out today and I am very happy with the way it swims, very nice wiggle and it gets down pretty deep, it's going to be a producer !!! Just don't remember how I built it, as I would like to make a few more in different colors !!! The naked plugs are made from balsa and are in the experimental stage. Balsa is nice to work with, very easy to carve with a knife and a rasp. I haven't done anything on the lathe in awhile as I have really been enjoying doing handcarves and only been doing them lately.
