lookin for stripers

Can anyone help me. Not from the area and am planning on going to barnegat bay, but im hearing its not great for stripers yet. Going out this week. Any one know of any general areas? I know spot fishing is a no-no but just a general area would be great. Thanks!!

well you hit the nail on the head its really not the place you want to focus on at this time at least for large bass weakfish and some smaller blues are in the bay....
if your looking to do some striper fishing or large blues i would recommend hitting the surf and using plugs and bait....but thats just my 2 cents...
