Still alive

Splitting time between DC and Philly (mostly DC) so it has been some time. Figured I would paint some ugly pencils and a few poppers for myself before I get started on some Danny’s for RI.

First try at stubby needles. Floating, slow sink, and fast sink (front to back). fast sink is made of trex

And I have not touched a fishing rod in almost a month.

The smoke is just that soot. Primed white and hold a flame under the plug and you get soot. Hold it to long and you get ugly blisters.

Plugs are sealed with waterlox marine, primed with RustOleum painters touch white, painted with create, and cleared with etex

Keith did the Mayhem a while ago, I just haven’t found any blues to throw it at...yet
