Huge.....

Huge blues had bunker dead all up and down the beach this morning. thanks to Rickstillcasting for the phone call. managed one in the mid-teens (fish was at least three feet long) on a bunker gibbs polaris and just enjoyed watching bunker getting driven all over the place. they were moving south pretty quickly and i could not access the beaches i wanted to due to the badge checkers and parking people.

yeah, we'll see charlie. they were north of squan yesterday so maybe it's just one group in tight moving down the coast or they are all shifting in. the water temp is cooler than it's been. shark fishing last night only turned up two 3' doggies for me and skates for jimtossin, rickstill.., and joeproblem. you would think with all the big bunker around if the sharks were still in they would have been caught last night. from north to south it was a steady line of dead bunker up on the tide line. wish i took a picture of a 15' circle of bunker with a handful of big blues just running circles around the outside. looked like a washing machine.

yeah its like live national geographic when you see stuff like that. earlier on a wave was build and you would see three or four bunker racing across it with a blue on their tail. if they grew bigger no one would swim.

hopefully improve the beach contours. should really mess up the fishing for awhile i think.

Not much bunker here in RI.....draggers got them....the rest left. Seeing macks though.
