never thought of fluking at night. night = bass time.ill give night fluking a try .

Most of my bigger fluke were at night last year and I wasn't even targeting them. :affraid:

I've caught quite a few at night while targeting weakies or stripers. This year I'm going to find some well lit areas and specificly target them. I need to hook a doormat on my yak and go for a sleigh ride.

flukeing at night is very productive like gsb just said, I love going at night from the surf, no boat traffic, little to no waves. others look at me like im crazy when they see me dragin a 7ft combo at night. 1/4 oz 1/2 jigheads with either 6'' pork rind or my best bait live mullet. knockem dead! When you say BB fanatic, I am guessing you mean Back Bay correct? Not Barnegate Bay? While fluke are present in barnegate Bay, I would be very impressed to hear someone catching 5-7 lbers with any regularity. I have caught some bigger fluke but mostly near inflows and outflows of water (i.e the canal mouth). I am by no means an expert on where to fish the Barnegate but would not mind finding someone who is, who knows some good spots south of Seaside.

Have had great success fluking at night....nothing to large, 23-24-25 inch fish....nad yes, they were very aggressive.

we do it up here...fishing for bass with eels ....and a door mat jumped on the eel... no bull.

So i am a BB fanatic and when others are concentrating on Weakies i am Night fluking .

This fish are so aggressive at night . My best is 7 lbs , last season i had a ton of fish in the 5 range

your night fluke fishing in the bay off of a boat or are there place where you can do this without one?
