Went Out Today 7/3

Went out today in my kayak again. Started out at 6 am, left 11 am. Very nice day to be on the water, overcast and cool. Fishing was good, caught 10 smb and lmb, biggest around 3 lb, using plastic worms.

I was fishing tight to the edge when I saw a very large bird flying just above me, turned out to be a bald eagle, beautiful. He didn't see me right away, but when he did he beat feet. Tough to get that close to one of them in the wild, very shy around people. What a thrill

thanx for report,, now ya got me thinking,,freshwater.
it is nice to know the bald eagle has been making a strong comeback in NJ.
