wish i had the chance to fish this weekend but its a parking lot by be 3 days of people filing in to lbi :evil: not even going to try it....

went out chunking alittle north of that looong stretch July 3rd dusk into darkness,, my buddy got a large ray,, don't know type,,not a cownose.

One good bluefish and many skates and robins during a 3 hour stint right smack dab in the middle of said barrier island. Poor wind, poor tide, fishing when I can.

Going east a bit next trip.

Do you keep a skate or two? We have Sting Rays down here and the little ones are tasty, and if I am shark fishing they make perfect bait.
