Handcarve Triple Play

Latest effort, they are 8 3/4 " x 2.25 - 2.50 oz. I'm happy with the results so far, don't know how they swim yet ?? Still a work in progress, but I think I'm getting closer, still some experimenting to do !!! Like throwing them to the fishes. !!

Holy smokes!! FJR they look awesome!! Your paint jobs are great, are you using colorado blades for lips?
I can not tell from that angle, but I tried the pointed tip look on my hand carves and found that there was not enough water resistance and they just swam surface to about 2'.

Minivin - yes, they are colorado blades, size 7. The bottom one is a lexan lip. Also ,I don't think the pointy nose keeps it from diving. you can get deeper by changing the lip angle and also by the size and where it's placed. These will probably only dive a little, their made with cedar and I didn't add much weight.

Jason - at least there isn't any runs and I need to keep it simple :lol:

those are FREAKIN AWSOME !!! i love all the paints ... i just started tieing a tail hook with the blue /yellow plugs colors its my new favorite pattern .. i just dont have a plug that color :suspect: yet
