Snook'n again(lots of pix)
I went to the beach this morning again. Didn't see as many snook as the last two days but still managed a few. My fish one was from a school of snook that were crusing the beach wasn't big but put up a good fight
The second and third fish were caught as they were swimming around a shallow sand bar, the snook avoid these places abd make them a prime spot to find snook whether you can see them or not as happened with the third fish as it was getting cloudy.
The fourth one was caught as we were heading to the south side and I saw a lone cruising fish, it took a few cast put finally got her to eat it almost chasing it onto the beach. I didn't think it was that big of a fish until its first run which never stopped! I finally had to palm the reel to stop her and by that time I had to run after her to keep her from getting to close to some people that were in the water. It took a while to land her but I finally did and man I was surprised to she her true size, I was pretty tired by the time I unhooked her and released her.
Seeing her swim off as if nothing happened was quite a sight , after that I continued walking the beach looking looking for snook, I saw two but they weren't interested. I found one stalking a school of bait and made a cast, it chased it but did not take the bait, made a second cast and it chased rite to the beach and literally came out of the water and ate it on the beach :affraid: ! Wasn't as big as the last one but it was a good sized fish and fought hard.
