J Bay Tourney

Did anyone from here make it up to the tourney today. I haven't seen any posts and was wondering how they made out.

I was going to go up after the tourney,,as I work a few hrs on saturday,, but after seeing the promise of strong thunderstorms saturday nite into sunday morning the trip didn't make sense for me.
One member here that did go is Hair Bug,, we did speak early satuday while he was on the water. He caught many blues. He said there were around 300 people participating. There were plenty of bass and some weakfish caught.

I read in another report from kayakfisherman that the winning fish were all 37"+ (weakfish) and 40"+ (bass)

I read there also,, sounds like the fog and current wasn't very user friendly.
