Don't Overpack your Kayak
One thing to remember with a Kayak is Less is better. Don't bring everything you own on a couple of hour fishing trip. Saftey stuff and minimum fishing equiptment.
Re: Don't Overpack your Kayak
I'm with you Andy, less is better !!! I don't even bring a crate anymore, bring less all the time. I feel it is more fun that way, just bring what you think is going to work that day, if it doesn't, oh well !! It could make you a better fisherman.
We use to play around in my younger days by challenging each other with a little contest, one man, one pole, one lure.
