Off to mexico....

Well I have to leave the house at 3AM but Im gonna shoot for gettin some sleep before then.

Ill be in cozumel til next friday...... Hope you guys pound em this week while Im gone! Ill be posting a report, thursday if the weather is good Ill be getting out to do some offshore trolling and bluewater spearfishing. If the weather sucks its off to the other side of the island to spearfish the reefs. Wish I could take my surf rods and plugs with me....

Safe trip and remember dont drink the water. Even the hotel water! Make sure it is bottled water. and also watch out for the cheese. I know alot of people who have been to mexico lately and got very sick.

We actually dont stay in a hotel anymore..... Rent a house in a private vacation community there. Thanks for the heads up about the cheese though...

Enjoy, last time I was there we partied at the end of one of the cruise ship piers at an open air restaurant. Can't for the life of me remember what is was called but had a blast none the less.

Midweek report, all is well..... diving has been superb, seen some grouper up to 65 pounds. Today Im off to the cenotes on the mainland to do some cavern diving. Fishing tomorrow. All is well otherwise.... I took a trip on my scooter around the island, you shoulda seen the surfcasters..... they were using handlines!

Unfortunately my underwater camera is shot, saved some pictures but the camera is ruined. Did some cave diving today on the mainland and the housing flooded on the 2nd dive. Bastard.... Tomorrow is fishing, I got the go ahead to spearfish bluewater but cant promise any action shots, just pictures of the aftermath.

Heard the weather been rotten at home eh?
