28 ounces later...

Following on from my previous efforts at GT lures, for my friend's forthcoming Indian Ocean trip, he's off on the 17th., I added to his armoury a few more 'wee beasties'.
The handful above weigh a mere 28oz!
Just a snack for these potentially 100lb. plus monster fish mind.

Slimey & Dorado are off fishin'..


These are made from beech wood, again; tough & heavy, so hopefully stand up to fish or two.

Some smaller, lighter (Russian Pine) poppers..

Hope he gets some luck; word is, the jetty is closed off for repairs but there's good sport off the rocks, dawn & dusk. Only thing is, they're having problems stopping the beasts & they haven't landed one yet. Ah.
Sounds 'interesting'.

My mate is toting some serious fishing gear out there, though & he is built like the proverbial outhouse, so if anyone can do it, it's probably Jon. He has promised me pictures, so cross your fingers please.

nice stuff jim.......nice colors 28.0 oz might put him over the baggage limit.....might have to toss some garmints out the bags for boarding the luggage
