Hello all, just joined up. Captain Ahab suggested I check this place out so, here I am.
Quick rundown of my fishing insaneness. I live 3-1/2 hours from the nearest point of Atlantic Ocean. This sucks but also has benefits as I don't feel obligated to fish my "local" waters. I have been as far North as Cape Cod and all the way down to Florida. Typically I am in the delmarva area but have been making my recent trips to Jersey. I am outfitted for almost any style fishing, be it kayak, deadsticking, or plugging. I am usually confined to being a weekend warrior due to my distance from salt but suicide runs are always an option for a night. When I do get out, do not expect to find me sleeping. I have found my body operates to fish usually to around the 40 hour mark with no sleep.
I build my own rods, tie my own rigs, pour my own lead, and am just finally getting into tieing my own teasers (any help with this is appreciated).
Looking forward to snooping around the site and meeting some of you guys on this board. I believe I bought my Hobie Outback from a member here named Andy.
Tight lines to all, Andy Martz.
