Any suggestions for applying etex?

Man i never have any problems with E-tex..

Make sure that you mix it well ....when you think your are done mix some more ...look at the epoxy in the cup at first it will be foggy and as you mix it will got clear again.....keep mixing ..

Then apply with a acid brush

Put on spinner and look at it in 24 hours

Mix Mix MIx is all i can say really not being funny just try that and see what happens

are you using a turner is one thing that will help if your not using one that is. The second thing i do is after i brush it on i heat it a little bit inf ront of my salamander heater and that thins up the epoxy and then i rebrush the plug and put it straight in the turner.

ARE YOU MIXING 2 EVEN PARTS.

west marine sell siranges for epoxy . you will never have a problem with amounts again.stir till its clear then apply get bubbles out with heat gun put on spinner in heated box and forgot about it.smooth and hard in 8 hrs.

alot of guys like the devcon 2 ton....... if you can find it .......sets up quicker.... also comes in syringe so its easier to mix equal parts.

I rub it on with my index finger in a latex glove. It doesn't go on as thick so it runs less! Try it! I think I got this idea from jigman?

ENVIRO TEX NEEDS TOO TURN FOR AT LEAST 6 HOURS. 4TOO 6 REVS PER MIN IS GOOD. OTHERWISE ENVIROTEX WILL RUN IT WONT SET UP RIGHT.

I just flip them every 15 min. for about and hour and a half, it works fine but I wish I had the room for a spinner!

thanks everyone--my problem is no spinner and trying to get them to dry by flipping and worrying about watching each side dry evenly..

need too build a spinner. its easy. all you need a bbq motor and spit. it spins at 6 rpms let it spin for 6 hours and no need too try too rember too flip every 15 mins. you dont have too build a big box for it.
