take out the 3 center weights, leave the belly hook weight and the last weight at the @ss end, is what i would try

I think you need to try it a couple different ways and see which is what you want.

1 - remove the 3 rear weights and reverse the lip.

2 - remove the 4 rear weights, leave the weight in the hook hole only

3 - Go with Handyman's suggestion.

You may have to do some playing around with the lip also, need to find the proper length, flatten out a pikie 1 lip, and leave it 1" long from the bottom of the plug. If that doesn't work you may have to go to a pikie 2. I can't tell the width of the plug from the photo, but it does look thin enough for the pikie 1 to work.

Wondering how you got on with this one? Have a similar body-shape in primered stage, myself (not confident). Have a largish belly weight, just behind a similar front-treble location & a smaller, forward, weight, mid-way in front, between that & the face-located, 'surfster' lip. I suppose I should just fit the hooks & see what happens but did you solve your issues with this beast (or did you bin it?).
