Another Weakie for Rich...

Out at it again with Rich tonight. He had to drive as my trucks transmission blew up on Tuesday. If it's not my boat (laid up from July 31-August 24 due to a blown power head and other stuff), it's my truck - I can't win this summer!
We hit a bridge to start things off. Saw 2 Bass, but they didn't wanna play. Saw the biggest Gar Fish I've ever seen there too.
Next stop we netted some Peanuts to experiment with a few techniques for freezing them so they won't get mushy - we'll see. Tried for Weakies while there. Ran into Matt who nailed a nice 18" Weakie there. We weren't so lucky.
Next stop had a father - son team plying the waters. They said they hadn't done anything, or seen anything. Next thing I hear Rich's drag screaming. He hauls a nice 20" Weakie up and is ear to ear grinning! Two trips and two nice Weakies for Rich. We tried for 30 minutes after to catch another, but no soap.
Made one last stop. Found some Bass cruising around a light. We each caught a micro Bass and called it a night.

Nice catch I usto love fishing for them beauties. I wish they would make a come back.
