Trying come up with something for white perch..tried a ultra shrimp pattern on a size 8 but seemed a bit big..any suggestions ?

if i were a fish i would hit that, Ultra Shrimp for Perch 560155 shorter hook or put a bend in the one you have now, make it like a nymph hook
