Newbie here

My name is Morty. I live in Delaware and fish up and down the east coast.

My obsessions are surf fishing with my little girl and defending what is left of our access rights to the fisheries. Now you know why my name is FINADDICT. I am 1st Vice President of DMS. I sit on an advisory council appointed by our Gov. I am a member of dozens of fishing orgs.

Hell I could go on and on. You all will probably get tired of reading my posts about access issues. Remember, there is power in numbers and together we stand and divided WE WILL FALL.

Welcome aboard Morty! I have spent a lot of time fishing the Del.coast. And know there are some great folks in the DMS. Have not been there in years as I have a daughter living in NC so I mostly fish a bit further south now.

Well, I am a delegate to UMS. I turned down an invitation to be the Ex. Director of UMS, because I have sooooooo much on my plate now. I have had a very active part in the Neg-Reg negotiations in the OBX.

I have been asked to join in the political side of things, but chose not to so I could keep fighting for access rights on behalf of the recreational fishermen. If I had joined the ranks, I would have had to conceeded my active roles in the access issues, so I chose to fight.

Wow, there is so much more, but I will leave it at that for now. 8)

I have a fishing family up and down the east coast. I now consider this to be home as well.
