quick update

i have posted a few times about my sons college running career. well i was on the schools website last week and came across an article from august. it would appear he was chosen for the USATFCCCA atlantic region all academic squad. to qualify you must run a national qualifying time in one event and maintain at least a 3.25 GPA. he is currently at about a 3.7 GPA so thats not a problem. the funny part is he was not aware that he made the squad. his coach failed to mention it to him. he has made the squad both athletically and academically last year so he is doing good. now he is gearing up to compete in nationals in march and he says he is planning to win nationals. not bad for a son of mine. (i have been questioning whether or not he is mine since he is smart fast and he is 6ft 3inches tall.) all of which is totally opposite of me. but the mailman is a jamaican guy so maybe???????. just kidding. anyway hopefully more to follow.

handyman thats the bubble at edinboro university out by pittsburgh, long drive in february snows the whole time we are out there. he loves that track and he always runs well there.
