Whitey Update

Whitey had his surgery early yesterday. I was with him in critical care last night until 1930. He made it thru the surgery OK and they took a couple of extra parts just as a precaution for testing. He was having trouble with pain management before I arrived. He needed the horse tranquilizer coming out of the gate but felt like he only had aspirin. After getting a happy shot he seemed to be his old self, talking and joking with the nurses. He has a long road ahead and surely could use some words of encouragement.

Whitey: You’re a lucky man with a beautiful young family and many friends across multiple states. I know you’re feeling down right now but you can beat this. You just have to get thru this first step. You are my brother and I love you, I can’t imagine not having you around. You did the right thing having this surgery. It’s time to Soldier On but if you need anything all you have to do is call.

Glad you got threw the surgery ok Whitey. I hope the recovery goes smoothly for you the next couple of weeks.

Thank You everyone .. I got home yesterday at noon time .. They didnt give me enough meds coming out of surgery so it took them awhile to get me up to speed .. I had the pain yesterday that you are suppose to have when you come out of surgery ... Now walkin around with this cathiter bag connected to you know what THATs a treat .... Wife is about to send me back in with a concusion LOL .. Thanks again .. its a bit painfull sitting upright so i will talk to you guys

One good memory was getting my Angler of the month plug while i was there Thank You Eurojett .. The nurses said oh look at the smile now i said ya give me 4 mills of that moraphine and a couple percs and it will get even Bigger

Had the extra plumbing removed today and got the results from surgery and the samples they took .. Cancer was contained to the prostate and all the samples of surrounding areas came back clean .. That was a relief
