Near the Atlantic ocean ..

Yes it is Montauk; I fished around the light for three days and didn’t hook up. It seems I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time. I did however get into fish from the beach at Hither Hills. All small fish, nothing over 10lbs.
The popper cast great and makes a big commotion on the surface but I pulled no fish on it. Maybe next time. All the fish came on bucktails and tins.

at least ya had a good trip...........yea the wrong place at the wrong time..........sound like my storie.......why just the other day as i was leaveing the beach with not 1 fish to be had.............i bumped into a brother angler and he go's yea ya should have been hear yesterday we killed them[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
