First Tog of the Season Empty First Tog of the Season

Had a great day out on the boat with Trav, His dad and bro Ben. I had the first big blowfish of the day within mins of begin in the water with bait, thats had one had to be at least 8 - 9 inches long. I also got my first kingfish too! Small and threw it back but was cool to catch. Then at 12 - 1 pmish we went for tog by the sod banks. I had hooked into one but lost it. Must of just been on the bait and not the hook. Re-baited and then got my first tog of the season, a 16incher! It gave me one heck of a fight too with my new rod cause it came up to the surface then dove back down into its hole giving my rod a good bend, but got it into the boat..lol. Was a great way to end an awesome day out on the boat. Below is a pix of me and my catches.
