Truck surf rod holder
I am thinking about building this for the back of my silverado to hold my 10-11 foot surf rods. Looks simple enough to make. My question is how do you think he mounted the tubes?

Looks like he screwed then to the cross bars of pvc..... just a heads up if it gets cold and stuff bangs in to it your chances are it will break as PVC is not to cold weather friendly...

No worries for Jimmy the Greek - he lives in Mass. where it never gets cold

I decided not to attempt to hurt myself and I got my hands on a pre-built one. Stay tuned for pictures. Some of us were not meant to go near tools, I am one of them.
