Striper bites

STRIPER BITES

10-15 mins prep time

Filet your fish as you normally would.

Cut your filets in half lengthwise. Make sure to get rid of all if not most of the red meat..

Cut into bite size cubes or 2"x2" cubes. It's up to you how big. ( this is how I normally do it.)

Wrap in bacon and stick a toothpick through it.

Get a large (1 Gal.) Zip lock bag and pour in some Italian Dressing 1/2 to 3/4 of a bottle.

Now dump in your cubes that are already prepared and let them soak over night or for a minimum of an hour to an hour and a half.
(the longer it sits the better it is.) You can freeze this too for a future date. It's just as good as fresh.

Now when it's time to put them on the grill put down a piece of aluminum foil and poke holes in it with a fork. (not to many just enough to get the heat up and through the foil..)

Cook until the meat is white and the bacon is a little crispy.
