Got my first keeper today from the surf for 2011 was a lot of work but got it done.
Fished lbi and the wind was blowing hard from the south not one person on the beach just me....Had a hell of a time holding bottom with 6.oz but did manage two large dog fish each over 3' then just as i was getting ready to call it a weekend the bait runner started to scream bang fish on a nice 30" bass set it free to swim again.....

nice catch smitty.........i hear ya with the wind issue went out IBSP and saw the flag was blowin south.......even an AVA struggled to cut threw the wind
