The shape looks good Trav
Could you try using a split ring thow to join the two halves together ?
That S hook puts alot of space between the 2 halves.
Good use of screw eyes but maybe find a way to move the two halves closer together.
Try test swimming it to see how the tail half wiggles or moves.
Just my 2 cents tho, I can't wait to see it painted

thanks. yea was thinkin of usein the rings to keep them closer but im gonna try this and see i was just thinking maybe with the s give it more movement ill let ya kno how it is as i go.

nice!!! try to threw wire that plug........ nice work..........im gona try to post some pics of some eels ive just completed and youll see the threw wire..........just im not good with a camera and i get all screwd up posting pics.......but ill give it a try

Nice Trav.. I'm with Charlie though. I think you should use a split ring. Stonger and better movement with the split ring.. Nice shape..

Intreasting idea with the s hook wondering how that will swim like that. If it does swim good I found stainless steel s hooks 1/8 inch die 55 lb work load limit.

if its hardwood or ayc the .092 screweyes they're really good...I use a closed one and a open one, keeps the joint tight..
