There gone....

The bass are gone and now I'm still getting up at 4 am on a daily basis and I'll have to head to the plug shop across town to keep myself from bass with drawls.
We have a new darter coming out this year that i have caught a few nice bass on. I have a ton of work ..... now I have to get my ass in gear and get ready for the spring run.
but tomorrow i'll be cast my pike 3 lip V wake plug from the beach and praying there are some blubacks around and the bass.... the gannetts haven't pulled threw yet... but it looks pretty empty out there.
oh well tight lines guys and for the 5th year in a row.... they have migrated on the out side of Block Island and were missing the crashing and banging of the big bass.

Well........................ Its an empty RI coastline and may is a long ways off.

Sad times Mike. Time to focus on building. I still gotta pull the boat and get her ready for winter, so I'll be getting started next week, or more likely, after Thanksgiving

Sounds good.... your welcome to come down and hang in my shop and talk jigs.... ya know i hate boston traffic thats why I never leave the beach.
I would love to see your shop and pic your brain about plugs.

Saw a picture of a nice fish caught yesterday up here, well, SE MA....maybe a few still to come your way.

That would be nice... but there on the out side of block as always..... we built a new spinner/ dryer for the plug shop yesterday... mike is finishing it up today.
I've been in the shop for 2 days.... working on a jig like we talked about.... few of them.
don't for get the 18.... silient George will be there and president of RIMs.... will be there... few locals and few out of townners
if you get board... I'm off on mon and tue... 8 hours in the shop making dust and fly.

POPPY & I tried last thurs saw some gulls & gannets working but they naver came in the north wind was killing us
about ready to pack it in myself luckily we had a good year @ THE DITCH
