I had to tell this story. Dropped my son off at his moms and I was driving home to get my stuff when I saw a yard sale that had a lot of fishing stuff. I stopped to look around and saw a penn 706. I grabbed it and asked the guy how much he wanted for it and he told me 10 bucks!!! It is in really good shape and of course I bought it. I have 5 704s but this is my first 706. I was so excited that I had to tell you guys. Ok back to driving now. Will report tomorrow on how the fishing was

it's in really good shape too. the only thing that i can complain about (if i can complain at all Very Happy) is that is came with the torpedo handle and not the pancake handle. i love the pancake handles and they are extremely hard to find since no one wants to get rid of them. oh and i got nothing fishing the whole weekend. however, it was a beautiful weekend to be out on the beach so i can't complain about that.
