With all this super hot weather we've been having , when do you think the fall run will start..Febuary or March!!!!! confused
Think it will be late or will the fish stay farther off shore while migrating??

The water temps are cooling off already. They've been in the mid to high 60's already but bounce back up to the low 70's. So hopefully it keeps falling and the run will be sooner than we all think.

I think the major run, if there is one anymore, will be in the beginning of Oct. To me it seems to come later every year and lasts longer with lots of shorts up untill Jan. Let's just hope it turns into a good one and the bass don't hold offshore on some bait.

I THINK THE FALL RUN WILL BE IN SEPT. THEN RUN TOO NOVEMBER.STARTING TOO SEE SOME FISH NOW. BUT I AM TRAVELING TOO FIND THEM. ITS BEEN PAYING OFF.

Due to circumstances beyond my control the the existing conditions that now are prevalent and are now in control of the atmospheric and tidal phases of the moon and after technical study of the above mentioned.... I can honestly say without fear of controversy,,,,,damn if I know.... ..salt Very Happy Very Happy

I was wading in the ocean today and it was like a jacuzzi, that's how warm it was. I think the fall run wont start until sometime late November.

Morning. New to the site. I fish mainly the Beach Haven area of LBI. Probably 70% bait & 30% plugs. Hope to get into more plugging in the early mornings this fall. Hoping the main run will start around Mid October and run through end of November. Looking forward to exchanges of information and techniques to improve my fishing.
