7/3 Fluke report

Fished from 8-12 about 3 miles out of Squan. Big fleet of boats must have been the super secret spot.

Slow drift started out west to east then switched to southwest. Wasn't a problem that the drift was slow as we were positioned right over a large mass of fish. Unfortunately they were all cookie cutter 16 inchers. I had between 15-20 throwbacks with 0 keepers. My friend had two fish with 1 keeper right at 18 inches. Beachboy had 7-10 throwbacks but had the big fish of the day at 22 inches. Beautiful day out on the water but I'm glad we headed in before the crowds. The PP canal must have been like a washing machine around 3:00pm
