Finally!!!

Got up at 1am this morning went to meet my buddy Robert at his boat....... we headed out to get bait and it was a real pain in the you know what to get and find some.......... made a decision at last minute bout an hour before sun up to hit some private dock lights for bait by throwing the cast nets and finally hit a crap load!!! then it was on to the beach to find some snook! Robert has never caught a snook so I was determined to put him on one! well the sun started to peak up over the horizon..... and it was on!!!! tossed me a pilchard towards the shore line and smack!!!! was like a truck grabbed my line....... it almost ripped the rod out of my hand!!!!! my curse of 5 months w/o catching a snook is over!!!! she was 38inches and well over 20lbs!!!! released and sent back to make some babies!!! not 2min later and ZZZZZZ!!!!! Robert is hooked up! and lands his first ever snook at 32inches!!!!! also released........ what a great memorial day!!!!

yes naspinsz...... they are on the beaches and passes in may, june and july, then the colder months they are in the back waters and creeks/rivers...................

they are hitting top water right now dozer, its just easier to get em to hit live bait though, expescially for a peron that never caught one......... always have wanted to fish the sebastian inlet...... hear that it kicks booty there!!!

yeah roc sebastian is amazing. you never know whats gonna come through the inlet at any given time. got my first snook at 1 in the afternoon on a popper right next to the picnic area in the bright sun. it is a great place to go during the week. gets crowded on the weekends. i try to go whenever im down visiting my dad. turned some plugs today since i'm home sick with pneumonia, thats right pneumonia. it sucks i have no energy but got 6 poppers turned and sealed so we will see how they turn out. lost 2 of my favorites at IBSP the one and only time i went this year. going simple colors and big.
