Delaware River Report.

My Boy CJ has been wanting to get out on the boat, so him a friend and myself launched the boat and went No. to Trenton for some Herring. Wind was blowing pretty good and water was choppy. One of the channel markers just south of trenton was missing, and yup without failure I hit a rock piling and destroyed the prop!!! After a quick 15 min prop change and hull inspection we were at the herring grounds. Ton of boats fishing, olny seen about 12 caught...none by us! Cj was getting board and decided to fish a bottom rig w/ bloods and was hooked up within 15 min.

Nice big catfish.
Just before leaving for deeper water I hooked a nice smallie bout 3lbs on a sabiki rig.

Finished out the day fishing for stripers w/ bloods. CJ and I both caught our first bass of the year.Nothing on a grand scale but fun just the same!!!



I was marking herring all morning on the FF, they just wern't feeding. Sudden drop in temps this wk maybe??
They should be stacked up by this wk and the big girls should be right on em!!! We'll see!
