Re: Post your asbury goodies
They all look so purty,, we all know they will look beautiful with a fishes mouth on them.Thanx guys for posting them up.
I'm a card carrying member of AsburyPark Fishing Club and it was nice to walk in before the general fishing public,, felt like I just walked into a strip club w/ forty women on stage and didn't know what eye candy I wanted to focus on first.
My true little score was a new BW Sports 3 tube plug bag for $10. Sometimes I just want to carry a few go to plugs/stuff and carrying this on my belt is going to be welcome relief on my shoulder and back. Yes, I bought plugs till it hurt.
I was amazed to see Lefty's long line of buyers --you needed a ticket to just be in his line.I have heard of this prior to seeing it,, though seeing is always another story. SOON!

Looks like you got all the prime stuff there Russ. Either you were very efficient or some guys were selling before the doors opened. what time did they open the doors? Did TB sell out in 3 minutes?
You got 4 TBs, the best cyclone, 5 choice RM Jtd Dannies, and a great pick of Fixters. I dont think I could have done that well if I was given a 10 minute headstart. I guess you didn't have to spend your time on crowd control this year? Nice stuff.

I must admit, one of the jointed brown trout dannies is my brothers. TB's were gone in an instant, Cyclones were available for quite a while, Dave C had fixters left when he was packing up, Ryan sent a care package to a certain shop.
You did not need to be that efficient to get the job done. I went TB, RM, Fixter, Cyclone and by 9:10 I was wandering around looking for stuff to buy. And for the record. The doors opened at 9AM and thats when I bought my TB's. He, RM, Dave C (fixters), Cyclone did not sell prior to door opening.

Re: Post your asbury goodies
Wow so he really sold out in like 5 minutes! That must have been crazy. Was it all club guys who got his stuff or did some people from outside get a chance. I would have thought the first people on line outside had Lefty tickets and went right there. I cant believe Cyclone still had that plug by the time you got to him, how many plugs did he have?

I was happy to be one of the first in line and be able to get my share of Leftys. I couldnt believe the amount of talent in that room. Im still trying to figure out how to post pictures.

Kevinmary - I picked up a cyclone around 11 am, there were only a few left at that time and he left shortly after that. I left around 11:15 and there were still a lot of plugs available, T-Bone, Big Rock, Davis, GRS, Luna, RM, Bodega, Guppy, RV and others I don't remember.

Thanks Teddy, I like that one too. It was the last one on the table. You would think all 4 would have been spakle but my rookieness got the best of me. I was 8th in line before the doors opened and I went to the left instead of right. In all honesty, I should have had my pick of the table more or less. Typical rookie mistake :suspect:
