Re: Who Throws What??
In the spring I like to throw soft plastics like Ronz, slug-gos and fin-s. At night you have to always throw the black bomber for a little while along with some poppers  . In the fall/winter it is mambo and magdarter time along with the slug-gos.

Re: Who Throws What??
I fish 80% of the time back in the bay . Either by Surf or Kayak .
In the spring i will use soft plastics but love throwing light bucktails with a huge profile .
When you get serious about back bay fishing you will figure out things that wrok every where .
On the NS i will go with Bombers and bucktails . I dont fish the plastics on that side of the island , my preference .
I know alot of guys like to ultra light in the back bays , but im not one of them .
You will encounter some Large and i dont want to do to much damage since i dont keep 99% of my fish .
I like fishing a 9Ft with a VS 200 and 50 PP 30#Floro leader NO Terminal Tackle .
Don't get discouraged if you think a spot is holding fish , change you angles of attack . This could be the difference between Failure and Banging
the Crap outa Fish .Also on Mirror nights you will spook the Fish in the back so you will have to let them set up againg . I like a west wind in my bay spots and thats has been the key for me .
Great Post Most guy's go light on their equipment I like you usin heavier tackle saves on the fish!!!Good Deal!!!!

Re: Who Throws What??
I throw bunker chunks at my brother when he's dumb enough to try fishing with me and my buddy.... Or I just whack him in the head with a whole one...

Re: Who Throws What??
In the back I throw different things. Drifting around during the day, I use Gulp swimming minnow on a jighead. Once it gets dark, I put a 6" white grub on the jighead and fish the lit bridges. I have a few poppers that I throw at dusk and dawn with limited success. I also have some black Bombers that I throw to the sods at night and have caught quite a few stripers.
I just picked up some Swim Shads to try this year, and a cool pink popper that looks promising.

Bunker...
I fish the upper delaware bay, up our way we have more Bait fish around(penut bunker) and other fish(herring, shad)
These are what i use if avail. If not, i wont go. Bloodworms also, but if it isnt live,or fresh dead-i wont go. Havent used plastics
for bass ever . Maybe some day, but have had great success with live, fresh bait.
