Mb You'd be suprised at all the radition which is found in soil.I do landscape work and when you dump soil at a fill site they check it for radiation.If it has a level above what the EPA accepts your turned away.Usually they tell you to bring it back in a couple of days.I've been told in the past it disapates when left exposed.Sorta an unsettleing feeling. :affraid: It's everywhere!!!

[b] WHAT I FOUND OUT TODAY. I WAS TOLD BY A FELLOW FISHERMAN THAT MOST OF GREATKILLS PARK IS LANDFILL. HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WERE 5 TOO 6 HOSPITALS. THAT USE TOO DUMP ALL THERE SHIT IN THE PARK. HE WAS GOING BACK TO THE 1940'S THESE HOSPITALS ARE NOW GONE,RIPPED DOWN. SO NOW THEY CLOSED OFF THE AIRPLANE FEILDAND THE BALL FEILDS. WHEN THEY START TESTING THE GROUND IN THE REST OF THE PARK.I WOULD BET THEY FIND MORE AND MORE HOT SPOTS. WHICH COULD MEAN THAT WE THE FISHERMEN.GET TOSSED FROM OUR PARK. THEY WILL CLOSE THE PARK DOWN .THEN NOBODY WILL BE ALOUD IN.I DONT THINK THAY ARE GOING TOO CLEAN IT UP.THE PARKS DEPT.CLAIMS THEY DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR THE BUDGET.SO IN THE LONG RUN I THINK WE ARE GOING TOO LOSE OUT . WHAT A SHAME.BUT WE HAVE TO REMBER THAT ITS FOR OUR SAFTEY IF THEY CLOSE THE PARK.
