Guide insert for a St. Croix
I just picked up a St. Croix PRMS86M2 on Ebay. The rod is brand new, the only problem with it is that the bottom guide insert is cracked in several places. I got the rod for 60.00 A steal IMO as I have seen the rod retail for about 170.00. How are the guide inserts measured and where would you guys recommend me getting it. I live on Long Island. Any help is appreciated.[/quote]
I would take to a tackle shop that does repairs, usually 12 bucks gets that repaired and a 2-3 day wait. Nice score on the rod

Re: Guide insert for a St. Croix
I believe that rod has a 5 year warranty......so call St.Croix..they may cover it.
