Never really gave it alot of thought. I'm not the camping type. I'd just as soon rent a beach house or sleep on my boat. What do slidons go for and how useful are they?

Kev,there great for beach fishing,lots of my friends have them and we love them,i mean where can you get water front proptey for the cost of you 4x4 permit,cost for new slidons are some bucks,your looking new with all the goodies about $30 large,used in mint maybe $10 to $15 large. :affraid:

I fish a 9'shimano set up.I mostly plug or throw swim shads/fin's'fish.I've got Korker boots.Usually rain gear but sometimes waders.I use a gaff. cheers

i like to fish rocks more than open beach or back bays. i try my best to get out to montauk as much as possible.

1. Lami super surf 10M with a zeebass25. Replaced my old GSB1201m and VS200.
2. I will throw whatever I can catch fish. I like eels. Bucktails. darter. bottles. Needles and tins.
3. I have Chota boots with snowmobile carbides screwed in or Korker guide boots.
4. yes. love to throw eels off the rocks.
5. Wetsuit will alwyas be my first choice but wader drytop combo has its place too.
6. Boca. never gaff or net.

Good deal Snizz I fish in that neck of the woods we should hit it this fall sometime!!!In the spring a bunch of us got together and fished from the park to pt pleasant we'll probablly do the same this Fall your welcome to join us!!You fish the Manasquan rocks??I usually hit the Brielle side.Drop me a line!!

1) St Croix triumph with a penn 704z
2) All plugs, Kasters and hopkins for tins, and 5 in storm shads and 9 in sluggos
3) Reddington wading boots with screw in studs
4) sometimes rigged eels, they do produce!
5) Hodgeman neopreme wadersand a simms dry top
6) 3' gaff (pretty close to the water on the north jetty at IRI)
