Biscuts and gravy
Makes enough for 4 hungry Fisherman
1 lb Jimmy Dean Sausage (The Tube )
3/4 quart Milk
Course Ground Pepper
1/2 stick of Butter
1/4 cup flour
Heat a medium sauce pan, when hot add the sausage ... Cook down the sausage until done . Pour off half the grease and return to flame . Melt the half stick of butter right in the sausage ... Now when melted add the 1/4 cup of flour ...Really mix well until the sausage looks pasty and add the Milk and low the flame to med . With a whisk stir until you see the sauce thicken .. Now add the black Pepper .. I add enough to see it and taste it ..
Salt if you need it . The sausage usually takes care of the sodium . Thats why i season at the end
cook for 10 -15 mins and stir once in a while
Bake some Grands biscuits and cut in half .. Ladle the Gravy right over the Biscuits ....

Re: Biscuts and gravy
I just made this this morning.
Also went all out and made my own biscuits from scratch.
Dang it was good.
I just cut the measurements in half so not to have much waste on leftovers.
