Awhile back Etch had challenged me once again, with another great idea of his:

Bullet style needle, to attach a trailer or eel skin in the back with a prop up front that dives nose down.
I finally finished it and tested it today and will more than likely being casting it in the river hopefully sometime this weekend. cheers Very Happy

thats a pretty cool idea! looks like the epoxy filled in your eelskin groove though.

Good eye, I didn't get the groove down deep enough. lesson learned :)

sometimes the bigger grooves fill up too, they really like epoxy!

I find that if you take a piece of wire, acid brush, bamboo skewer, etc and "clean out" the groove after the epoxy coat, it tends to keep its groove shape a little better.
