Those are the only brushes I use. Before I use the brush I take a pair of pliers and re- crimp the metal that holds the bristels. I never had a problem and you cant beat the price!!

We tried one of those brushes.
Lasted us about 8 lures and didn't do such a great job on those.
Maybe we got a bad brush. Maybe he handled it too roughly.
Maybe we got what we paid for.
Caveat emptor.

The guys that know what there doing Im not one of them LOL But they use a drier motor that rotates the plug while its drying so theres no build up I cheat and use a propaine torch at a distance just to heat it up while putting on epoxy it removes brush marks I havent burnt one yet

Re: a heads up
Fish - I'm not sure, but if you are using devcon 5 min, that's your first problem. You need to use the 30 min stuff. Even the 30 min sets up quick, about 8 min, enough time for one plug. I also use the propane after it's coated, then hang it to dry.
Maybe a better route for you to take would be to get some envirotex lite at micheal's, it gives you a longer working time and is easier to apply, just don't put it on too thick you can always do a second coat.. Again use the propane after applying, breaks up the bubbles. One difference is, after hanging you will need to flip it a few times so the epoxy doesn't run. Good Luck.
